Netherton Foundry is a South Shropshire family owned business. Netherton Foundry is located in the Industrial Revolution birthplace. It was the “Silicon Valley” of the 18th century. Today, the heavy iron and coal industries are all but a far remembrance, and most of it is a much quieter way of life back in that corner of rural England.
The Netherton Foundry inspired Shropshire Iron Master, particularly Abraham Darby, in the 18th and 19th centuries. He created the first iron bridge in the world.
